A survey of young migrants’ interest in jobs with the police force.

Brief description
In a nationwide survey, we compared young people from the four main migrant groups (Turks, Moroccans, Antilleans, and Surinamese) amongst themselves and with Dutch young people. We carried out a random sample survey among 1,000 young people in seven big cities. The central question was: 'do migrant groups differ among themselves as regards their interest in jobs with the Dutch police force and their views on the Dutch police force?'
Colourview’s contribution: the entire process from problem definition, its operationalization into a questionnaire, fieldwork, statistical analysis, to the final report.
Length of interview: 60 minutes (young people) and 20 minutes (their parents)
